Michael Lancashire’s first serious writing was episodes of The A-Team. Sadly they were not picked up by NBC for some reason, probably a combination of the lack of an agent and the fact that he was 7 and they were written in crayon.
Why do we all write bio’s or CVs in the third person? I guess it’s supposed to sound more modest. Enough of that. I did write an episode of The A-Team when I was (about) seven. I didn’t submit it to NBC though so who knows, maybe they would have picked it up. Anyway, since around that time I have wanted to be a writer and have even had a couple of abortive attempts at it until I created the Architect and found a character I enjoyed writing about and readers enjoyed reading. Now I write whenever jobs and family life permit.
I live in the English Midlands with my wonderful wife, three kids and an ever changing assortment of chickens, mammals and reptiles.
